BIOGRAPHY
Progressive psytrance duo Andromeda is Anders "Andy" Nilsson (from Sweden) was formed in 2002. He has released four albums: Temptations (2004), The Remixes (2005), Sensations (2005) and Equilibrium (2012). The first two albums were produced with former member Dj Nikos Costoglou from Holland. Anders is a producer and songwriter residing in Scandinavia. He studied Media, Recording and Editing in Swedish Gymnasium and worked as Sound engineer when he was not busy with writing music. He has been involved in Hip Hop, Musicals and Pop projects before ending up in trance and experimental ambient music in the mid 90’s. Andromeda has toured the world on festivals like Boom, Rainbow Serpent, Ozora, Transcendance etc. Previous releases from Anders can be found on: Spiral Trax Records, Transient Records, Millennium etc. Their extensive discography with over 40 releases can be found on Discogs
Temptations
The first Andromeda album which launched the act into great success with classics such as Atmonizer and Imploded. These tracks was played on every dancefloor in 2004
Sensations
The follow up album with a Scando style sound and had the megahit and anthem Sensation which became their absolute signature track in 2005 on world festivals
Equilibrium
The 3rd and most psychedelic album was homage to childhood memories with the tracks Tron Escape & Giana Sisters, a gamestyled soundtrack from the age of the 8-bits & C64 computers
The Remixes part 1
The Remixes (1) was a remix project by Andromeda Where he made his unique take on some all time classics by ManMadaMan, Tikal, Safi Connection, Artax and others.
The Remixes part 2
The Remixes (2) are coming with epic remixes of the classics Time Simulation by Talamasca, Theater of Magic by Alternate Vision and many more top artists.
